FAKE CATHOLIC WORLD NEWS

GET THE SCOOP

This site was created in November of 2017 in frustration over the amount of misinformation which is given regarding almost every approved miracle of the Catholic Church. There was no mention of it being a fake news site; I just wanted to see if anyone would take it seriously. At least one person did, and I felt quite bad about it. Thus, we now have all the disclaimers. As you can see, I never did much with it or even updated or looked at it since it's publishing almost a year ago. I would remove the site entirely, but I think it would be an injustice to at least that one person who took it seriously because it would not give her a chance of ever returning here to see that it was in fact fake. The claims I made in both stories published were so extraordinarily impossible and bizarre that I had hoped it would be clear. Unfortunately, the claims made in stories which credulous Catholics hear every day are almost as bizarre and they are used to believing them so I suppose they would have no problem believing these stories as well. Just to clear some water, the miracle of Lanciano, as well as every other Eucharistic miracle, is simply mummified flesh -extraordinarily well preserved flesh; it is not living tissue as some Catholic reports would have you believe. As well, the incorruptible saints are not perfectly preserved, they, as well, are mummified (naturally or otherwise). You can find no example of an "incorrupt saint" that is not covered by a wax mask. Even St. Bernadette, which reports describe as covered in a "thin" mask, is not as incorrupt as some would like you to believe. The original medical report of her exhumation describes her eyes as sunken in, with a green color to her skin, etc. Also, 70,000 people did not see the "miracle of the sun" at Fatima. Many saw nothing unusual. If you stare at the sun, you will see strange things. I witnessed this with my mom growing up who regularly visited a local visionary in Conyers, GA and saw all kinds of strange things while staring at the sun. I, present at the same time, saw nothing unusual...probably because I was not staring directly into the sun. All that being said, I still feel that I was rash in publishing this site, and will most likely take it down after some time because I do not believe it is written with the respect that all people, and God Himself above all, deserves.
